Big Helper

Peter is very into being a "big helper" and the other day after we had been outside with Isaac in the Bjorn, he decided that it looked like fun I guess so we strapped it on him and he carried his bear around the house for an hour or so...too cute.

piano

Peter loves the piano, something that along with his adoration of ties is something that Alan and I hope he retains as he gets older. I think the piano at church almost as much fun for him as nursery is. The choir was singing one Sunday and there was a part that they started singing a capella and Peter started getting upset and saying "all done" because he wanted the piano to start playing again. Needless to say it is also one of his favorite things about visiting my parent's house. Here is our budding pianist.

Transformation

So this last weekend I swear Peter has been trying to turn into either a vampire or a werewolf,(those that have read the Twilight series will understand my reference.)

Peter has been working on pushing out his canine or "fang" teeth and wow he has been a monster...raging fever, drool, snot, sleeplessness, appetite change and three days of drop of the hat crying...I wonder if that is where the author got her ideas for the transformation of her characters?? Anyway, he woke up relatively happy today so I think our happy little guy has returned from the dark side....now if he starts sparkling in the sun or growing patches of hair I will really be concerned!

I don't think he should be allowed to get anymore teeth until Isaac is sleeping through the night! This is how Peter spends most of the day, with his blanket in a semi coherent state.

Brothers

I find it very hard lately to take a picture of Isaac without big brother feeling the need to be involved...he just loves being the center of attention! But I think he is doing well in having to share mom's attention for the most part, it is only when the camera comes out and he also has learned that he can see himself in the preview on the camera so he wants to take a look after every picture! Here is a kinda blurry picture of Isaac smiling since the video I tried to download last week wouldn't work...he has the cutest smile complete with little dimples! I love when they start becoming more interactive!

And here he is blowing bubbles...not only does the kiddo have the smelliest gas ever, he drools like a he is teething and sometimes even blows bubbles with it!

I love this picture, he is such a cute little turtle. Isaac is very strong for such a little guy, he almost has the upward facing dog yoga pose perfected!

Are they not just adorable?? Peter sure does love his little brother, and I can already tell that Isaac is watching Peter's every move and before long will be following his lead!

Memorial

A dear friend of mine passed away last month and it took me quite by surprise and I have been struggling with putting into words how much I will miss her. I don't think that she ever knew how much she touched my life for the good because she was one of those people that has touched so many people's lives that I am sure she did so without even thinking about it. Shw was a Woman of God. Words are not adequate to describe how thankful I am for the life she led and what I learned from it. I pray that I may be half the mother and wife that she was and that I may be able to at least pass that example on to someone-somewhere. I realized how hard it is to mourn from a distance and my heart goes out to her family, many who I know and love as family myself. The world is a better place because of her and I celebrate that but I will miss her enveloping laugh, quick wit, zest for life and her infectious drive. I have also learned a valuable lessen-never pass up the promptings to call or write or whatever to someone you love and to tell them how much they mean to you.

Video uploading

Ok, so I am beyond frustrated and an asking for help from those who read this. I have been having trouble uploading videos for a few months and can't figure out why they won't upload. here is the issue: I click on the little Add Video button, search and label my video, accept the Google terms and them let the video upload. Previously I know this can take a few minutes, but I have let this run for hours and it will say "Still Uploading". Has anyone had any similar problems or know what I can do to fix this?? I have some super cute videos I want to post but can't. Thanks!!!

Before I forget...

So we were watching a funny video from Alan's sister last night and we came across this video that I have seen before but had forgotten about. Alan had never seen it and I think he watched it at least 10 times last night with tears streaming down his face. If you have never seen it, enjoy...if you have well...you can never get too much of a good thing! I only hope that my boys are as patient and forgiving of each other!

Peterisms

I was feeding Isaac this evening and he totally ripped a huge fart. (He is our little gas monkey) Peter was sitting in his high chair and Alan was standing between Peter and I and upon hearing the aforementioned noise laughs and said "Daddy Fart!" We tried to convince him that it was Isaac but he was not buying it.
