Off and Running

So our last day being in Idaho Peter decided that he was going to start walking. He was going everywhere and looking very pleased with himself! His longest trip was 28 steps. Since we have been home he is just going to town. Everytime I turn around he is walking somewhere. He is definitely enjoying his new found independance but it is still suprising for me to see him do it. I have tried to catch this on film but of course his really good walking happens when I am no where near the camera! This is the best I could do

Summer Fun

So I have been traveling for the last week and a half and am finally home and I think recouperated-Peter is still working on getting back into his schedule.

First we went to Nauvoo for a quick visit with Alan's family. It was one of those trips that nothing seemed to go as planned but I love visiting Nauvoo no matter what. Due to the rain I didn't get many pictures but Sunday we woke up to a beautiful day so Peter and I went for a walk.

After Church we visited Jospeh, Hyrum and Emma's grave sites. I don't remember ever visiting these spots before and I have to say it is one beautiful resting place.

We drove home that evening and the next morning Peter and I hopped in the van with my parents and two little sisters and headed for Idaho to visit my sister and brother and their families. It was a long drive-one I vow never to do again, especially without Alan. But we had a fun time visiting and meeting Peter's new cousin Ethan.

Playing in the waterpark in Rexburg-Peter loved it even though the water was so cold. He didn't want to stop even though his lips were blue and trembling!

Visiting with Aunt Sarah-Peter had so much fun being spoiled by his aunties on this trip.Cousin Ethan on his blessing day. Peter was very intriqued with this tiny little man, I had to be very watchful so he didn't kill him with loves!

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 3rd anniversary, how times flies! I am really glad that we have this blog to keep track of all the fun and crazy turns our life has taken since we met, fell in love and were married. Since I started this after our wedding we don't have any pictures or stories on here so I thought I would reminisce a bit so forgive me for those who already remember the details.

Alan and I were sealed in the Logan Temple on a gorgeous day as you can see. It doesn't seem like a very convenient place for us to get married but at the time is was a good common meeting ground. After a beautiful ceremony we spent some time taking pictures with friends and family. As with most weddings the day seemed a blur of happiness and smiles. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my life with Alan.Me and my sisters-one of my favorite pictures of the day.We had our reception down the hill from the temple at a cute bed and breakfast which we stayed at that night. We had a great view of the temple, the food was fantastic and we were so thankful to share this happy day with so many friends and family.I loved our cake-chocolate inside and out. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

I am so blessed in many ways to be married and I am grateful everyday for my kind, loving and playful husband. I couldn't imagine my life without him he has added more joy and happiness than I ever thought was possible. I love you babe, happy anniversary!
