We have started giving the boys a bath together at times and the first time we did I sat Isaac up to be able to see Peter and he started laughing, real whole body giggles. It was too cute and Peter thought it was funny. Since then Peter has started to be a little to crazy in the tub so we do separate baths (I think he felt like the bath was his special time and Isaac was stealing the spotlight) which is fine, it alllows Peter to have more fun with his bubbles...
We borrowed a baketball hoop from my sister for Peter to expend some energy and he loves it. He is not a bad shot either!
We have been utilizing the pack n play as a Time Out spot, which I am happy to report for 1-works pretty well and 2-Peter usually doesn't have to spend much time in it! Today though I wish I had a place for a time out! It was one of those rough days that don't come very often and that you can't wait for them to be over...just a little snippet of the day, we ventured out to run some errands which usually helps and right after Peter spills his snacks in the aisle at the market, Isaac starts crying and then Peter proceeds to spill half the container of noodles out all over the floor...I think the only thing that I accomplished today was not strangling Peter and eating lunch. Good thing I have chocolate in the house! :)
We went to my parents house for Easter dinner and the annual Egg hunt which we were able to have even with all the crazy rain! We thought that he would have fun with his cousins and were surprised when he took off on the hunt like a professional! He had so many eggs they were falling out of his basket. It it was really funny that he was selective about which eggs that he wanted. He would stop and look at one and be like-"no, I don't like that one!" It was cute.
It was a fun time and I think that Peter consumed more candy during our visit than he has in a whole year. I couldn't figure out where he kept getting all the candy until we realized that he had found Amy's candy stash! Little sneak!
