Monkeys and Shoes

This monkey is Isaac's favorite little toy, it is soft and so easy for him to hold. I personally think he kinda looks like the monkey as well and Isaac must think he is pretty cool because he is always having a little conversation with him.

Already trying to fill dad's shoes...he has a way to go, but he sure is trying! (I was very impressed that he could actually walk in them without falling!)

Forts

During my sister Amy's spring break she came to visit for a few days and to Peter's joy she helped him build a fort. This is a first for Peter since he always builds "towers" with his blocks and the goal is to see how tall he can build it. So the concept of a fort was new to him but after they were done he thought that it made a great place to sit. Unfortunately his booty was a little bigger than the allotted space!
And much like Jericho, the walls came tumbling down!

Happy Spring

I took the boys to the park to the same daffodil field that Peter and I went to last year to take our welcome to Spring pictures. It was a little tricky finding a day that wasn't raining and taking pictures of two kiddos is a task...I don't know how the professionals do it! But I was able to get in some good shots, here are a few of my favorites.

Brotherly Fun

Isaac loves to watch his big brother, he is a constant source of entertainment for him. Even if Peter does try to jump over him and sit on him at times!

Isaac started learning to sit up the beginning of May, which seems really early to me but I think he likes to be able to see all the action foing on. Peter has also decided that anytime I pull out the camera to take a picture of Isaac that he needs to be in it too...not that he will hold still if I want to take a picture of him! Funny how that works.
