Part II of the 4th of July

Well, I guess it is really part I-but anyway...prior to the 4th of July festivities Alan and Jake went to a Cardinals game while Maren and I stayed at home and put kiddos to bed and spent the evening chatting-our favorite thing to do. It was so good to have her here, nothing beats face to face communication!

Here they are at the stadium They had a great view!As I mentioned, Peter spent most of the time following Cole around. I don't know what it is but he loves older kids-he is just enamored with them. It's like he is trying to copy their every move. It was cute though because Cole was the master of the army crawl and he was so much faster than our stout little man that he never quite caught him! The morning of the 4th we went to the Zoo, and no trip to the Zoo is complete without a stop at teh butterfly house. You might notice on my visor that I have a stowaway. The zoo was fun as always even if it was a little warm! I think one of my new favorite exhibits is the hippo tank-pretty cool!
Thanks McBride's for braving the 10 hour drive with 2 kiddos, we will have to try to make it to Texas when the weather cools off!
