I am not sure who was more excited about Mother's Day this year, me or Peter? Peter got to help daddy pick out my presents and according to dad loved running through the store telling dad that mommy needs "this" :) I have to say though he picked out a great bouquet of flowers, they were beautiful and lasted for weeks!
After breakfast, I was informed that the next part of my present was that I got to go to both Sunday School and Relief Society without a kiddo! Whoohoo, I can't remember the last time I got to sit in church for 2 hours kid free??! It was the perfect present, I needed some quiet time! Thanks babe!
Alan had asked what I wanted for dinner and I told him nothing that would require him to spend all day in the kitchen. He suggested pizza and I said perfect! (I could eat pizza multiple days a week) To top it off he made his chocolate lava cake which if FAB-U-LOUS!
And Isaac and Peter thought so too!
Although I think I actually got more in my mouth than they did!
Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the mothers I know , hope your day was wonderful.
Thanks again Alan and company for a perfect day!
Love you!

What a nice day. I agree that sometimes the best gift is just some quiet time.
You are an AWESOME mom. Just thought I'd tell you. I'm glad you had a good Mother's Day. Oh, and I forgot to tell you when we briefly chatted yesterday, one morning about a week ago, Cole looked over at me and told me "last night Peter hit me". You'd better get that kid under control if he's hitting people hundreds of miles away! :) I laughed and couldn't help but wonder what Cole's dream really was about.
