No one can ever say that we haven't taught our children how to work! Look at our "big" helpers! They were so excited to help daddy scoop out the dirt for our new garden beds. We had to practically drag Naomi off the truck!
It is not finished here but it took about 4 truck loads of dirt, but we got them done!

I bought myself an orchid has I think they are so pretty! We will see if it survives the children...
We of course had some ham bones left over after dinner, so in a nod to my mom I mad ham and beans...Ant Sarah would be proud...Naomi polished off 3 bowls!
I taught the boys to play slap jack and it is their new favorite game, and I love that they can play it all by themselves...with a some small intervention of course when they think the other is cheating!
