Swimming
We have a membership to the YMCA, which I really need to use more than I do....but I did at least sign Peter up for the "Shrimp" swimming class this month and that has been fun. It it very low key, mainly just getting them used to the water and splashing around, not that that has ever been a problem for Peter, but it is good for him to interact with the other kiddos. Alan came last week and took some videos and photos, please ignore the pregnant white lady in pink and white. :)
Peter doesn't really get the whole kick your legs and swim with your arms that they keep trying to teach but he is the best back floater and he never cries so I guess that counts for something!
This is Peter's favorite game-jumping in the pool. He gets such a kick out of it. But I am still not sure it is a great thing that he is so comfortable jumping in the pool....
Happy Boy!

Good Day
Yesterday was a good day. Alan did not have class or have to work in the OR, it was his one day break between semesters and it was so nice to spend the day with him. We were at Target looking for him a pair of black flip-flops, which surprisingly is harder than it would seem, and we had split up to look for something else. When they came back to me Alan said "see Peter there's mommy" and he just lit up in smiles and got all excited which I just love. But it gets better apparently after I left Peter actually started saying Momma and looking around for me and as Alan is telling me this Peter points to me when Alan asked where momma was. It just melted my heart. He says momma all the time but never really in context. So needless to say I almost teared up in the lock aisle in Target!
