Tiny Miracles

Before we left for the East Coast for the Holidays, I had decided to cook down the pumpkin that we had to save to make pie or bread or whatever later. And since we were traveling I thought I would bake the seeds to take as a healthy little snack. We took them with us and gobbled them up during our trip and I didn't really think about it until we got home. I was getting myself a glass of water and I noticed that there was a green leaf sticking out of our garbage disposal. And I thought to myself that is wierd...so I pulled it out to throw in the garbage. And this is what I pulled out.
Apparently a seed fell into the disposal and while we were gone it had enough water to sprout and grow! Amazing! We got such a kick out of it that we decided to keep it and it is now growing on our widow sill until we can plant it outside. Isn't it incredible what can grow when given the chance!
