Peter has been asking for little Legos for at least half the year and I keep telling him maybe when he turns 6, so it was inevitable that we have a Lego party. I was excited to plan the party because there are so many fun Lego ideas out there, but then he had to throw in the "oh yea mom, I want a cheesecake for my party." Really? I thought maybe last year was a fluke but this kiddo amazes me with his adult taste buds. So this is what I came up with. A Cheesecake topped with chocolate Lego bricks. He loved it, most of the other kids at his party wouldn't even touch the cheesecake, they just ate the chocolate bricks and the cream off the cake!
Isaac helped me with putting together the decorations for the party, we had fun experimenting.
Happy Birthday!!
Isaac inviting our guests in since our door knob was covered.
Peter was thrilled to get his legos! He spent weeks creating with them every spare minute he had!
It was so fun to have a party at this age all the kids were so excited and are actually at an age where they can play games. My favorite was watching them play freeze tag with Alan, which was everyone's favorite game as well!
Happy Birthday to my first baby, I am amazed by your creativity and imagination, your joyful heart and your giving heart. I can't wait to see what you do and become as you grow! Just do a little more slowly please!
