End of Summer

We put this together at the beginning of summer to try and plan fun things to do and I think it worked quite well.  We were able to do just about everything on our list and it was nice to have some goals to work towards.  The kiddos liked coloring everything in once we completed it!
The first few weeks of August I spent trying to get Peter ready and prep myself for him starting kindergarten.  I alternate between being so ready for him to start and wanting to hold on to him just a little longer.  I don't know about other moms but it seems so hard to turn him over into someone else's care...he will now be gone more than he is home most days.  I hope we prepared him enough!
It has been strange doing things like the zoo and the parks without all my children.  One morning we took a hike with some friends to Watkins Mill, it was a little longer than expected, but fun nonetheless.

Downside to the day, later that evening I spend the day at Children's Mercy with Isaac with what looked like an infection of a very sensitive boy area....darn chiggers.
