5 months old

We decided to go to the Arch this last weekend because Peter has actually started to recognize it when we drive by and I thought he might like to see it up close and personal. Which he did, as we were driving towards it he kept saying "big arch, big, big, big arch!" This picture was taken right after he got a little to up close and personal with the arch and decided it is not very forgiving. We was running towards it and I don't know if it was the slightly sloping ground or the reflection or if he wasn't paying attention or what but he ran face first right into it, I was a few feet away and I heard the thud. 4 days later and he still has a little bruise on his forehead!

Isaac enjoying the ride, I don't know about anyone else but I find it hard to go and do things outside with this little guy because I am afraid that he is going to overheat, but so far he seems to be doing ok.

We went to the Laclede Landing which is next to the Arch for dinner, they have a bunch of restaurants on this old street by the river. Peter very much enjoyed his mac-n-cheese and this past week has decided to start using his utensils for more than just something to hold in the hand he is not eating with, which is great, but as you can see he still makes a mess!

Isaac turned 5 months this weekend, which blows me away, where did the time go?! The week he has started doing some more yoga and is working on perfecting his plank position. I swear this child has better abs than I do!

He is quite the mover, he can now roll from his back to his stomach and turns himself around in circles. I will put him down on the blanket, turn around and when I look back he is either completely turned around or on the other side of the rug. I am going to have to keep an eye on him. He has even started scooting round in his walker trying to keep up with Peter.

He can almost sit up unassisted without falling over and the little man has the strongest fastest hands ever. What hair is left on my head after the post pregnancy fall out is steadily being pulled out by him. Looks like I won't be wearing earrings for awhile! I am pretty sure that his two top teeth are trying to break through so that will be our next big excitement. Isaac loves to try and eat your face and quick with a smile to get your attention.
