The boys and I went to my parents house to visit this last week for a few days since Alan is essentially MIA due to his current rotation. We had a fun little visit I was able to help my mom with some projects and Peter and Isaac were spoiled by their aunties and grandma. But Peter sure was glad to come home and see his daddy-he has been attached to his side this whole weekend.
Here he is "studying" with daddy. He sat for a good 30 minutes and read about Winnie the Pooh while Alan studied. Then he got bored and started crawling all over him.
I asked Peter what he wanted to do with Daddy this weekend and he told me he wanted to make cookies with dad, when I asked what kind he said chocolate chip-I think he has watched too much cookie monster....anyway, on Saturday they did just that. Peter is really getting into helping. I saved a carton of eggs from destruction the other day because he was going to "mix" them. He also has go-go-gadget arms because I don't know how he reaches most of the things on the counter...but back to the cookies, while they were making the dough into cookies, well Alan was shaping, Peter was eating...I heard Peter exclaim that he "needed cookies" so this is what I was able to catch on video.Does anyone else think it is funny that Peter already knows all the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies??
