Spring fun and graduation

After recovering from our trip we enjoyed our spring, even if it was a little chilly!  Naomi loves to sit in the grass and pick the clover flowers and chew on them.  I wonder if that will help her have no allergies kinda like eating local honey?

The last week of school the boys had a field trip to Deanna Rose Gardens and I got a sitter for Naomi and went as a parent helper.  Peter and Isaac were in different groups and I was a helper for Isaac's group.  Here we are waiting for the bus to go...(I almost think this was more exciting than the actual field trip)

We fed a lot of goats among many other animals.
Here is a peacock showing off his feathers!
Issac looking a little bored waiting to move to the next site.  The problem with this field trip is that we have been here a couple time before, so nothing was really "new", but the weather was great and it was fun to see him interact with his classmates.

Sarah and her family came for a quick visit and the cousins had fun playing together.

Jackson loved pushing around our cars and this little toy lawn mower.

Here is Jackson giving Naomi some "love"  which she is not too thrilled about...
..and here she is running away...
...and then they were friends again after a snuggle with mom
I have been trying to provide the boys with fun and stimulating activities for the boys this summer.  One week we played with shaving cream...this particular day I dyed it and they painted outside with it.

and of course, it turned into rubbing it all over themselves...
We also played with it in the bathtub and used it to send our matchbox cars through a "car wash"

At the end of the month the boys' preschool ended and there was a little year end celebration along with a graduation for the older kiddos going into kindergarten.  I loved this last year, because the skits were so adorable.  This year did not disappoint either!

Isaac's class sang about the different parts of the body and his favorite was one about "bones"
Peter's class educated us about the solar system, he was scientist studying the sun.
Here is Peter in his graduation robes, he was SO excited!  He could barely contain himself and had a hard time focusing on what he was supposed to be doing because of it!

He was so proud of his certificate, it is still hanging on our fridge!
He was so excited to graduate that I don't have the heart to tell him that he won't be starting kindergarten until next year because of when his birthday falls...I am sure he will figure it out.  I was surprised how emotional I was for the boys to be ending at their preschool...it has been such a wonderful and nurturing environment for them and I just love their teachers and all the respectful and peaceful problem solving and behavior they learned!
